At the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, we understand that going through a divorce can be an overwhelming and challenging experience. We believe that during such times, it is crucial to have a supportive community that provides comfort, guidance, and understanding. That’s why we are excited to introduce our Divorce Support Group, where you can find the support you need on your journey to healing and restoration.
Our Divorce Support Group is designed to provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals who have experienced or are currently going through divorce. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal and rebuild their lives after the pain of separation, and our group offers a supportive community to help you through this process.
By partnering with DivorceCare (https://www.divorcecare.org), a trusted and widely recognized organization specializing in divorce recovery, we ensure that our support group follows a proven and effective curriculum. DivorceCare provides resources, materials, and a comprehensive program that addresses the emotional, practical, and spiritual aspects of divorce recovery.
During our support group sessions, you will have the opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar challenges, share your experiences, and gain insights from a biblical perspective. Our caring and experienced facilitators will guide discussions and provide valuable resources to help you navigate the difficulties associated with divorce.
LCGS’ Divorce Support Group offers:
